One-on-One Business Mentorship
On the precipice of every significant business expansion is the tender question, “Will I be able to do this? Is this actually going to happen for me?”
We have an idea of where we want to go, but between the present moment and the vision we hold for our business is this vast expanse of unknown.
“Will anyone want to do this kind of work with me? And how will I find those people? Will my current strategies work, or will I need to learn new ones? I know I can do (insert past success) but if I step toward something more, will anyone value it? Will I be able to communicate that value and find the people who are the perfect fit for this? Will it take forever? I’m ready for this future right now!”
You know this next part because you’ve expanded many times: the answers to all those questions are inside, and you’ll find them one at a time.
In hindsight you’ll see clearly how it all came together. But right now, the only thing to do is to root into the present moment, make your best attempts at meeting your ever-changing needs so you’re resourced to show up to each next step, and allow the Self to lead you through the unknown.
I’d like to be your companion for that journey.
I can’t possibly know how your story will unfold. But I would be honored to hold space, ask the hard questions, highlight the patterns that keep you stuck, and compassionately align myself with your slowest parts who have important insights to share with you.
There is no linear and known path forward. There is only trying. Being more yourself. Trusting Self to guide the way. There is only believing in what is meant for you and being in devotion to your desires.
If you resonate with what I’m sharing, you might enjoy this 6-minute video about expansion and growth.
There is no correct response to, “Will I be able to do this?” But the way we respond has a real impact on the timeline of our success.
Will you dampen your vision to something “more attainable”? Will you let yourself want what you want, including moving toward it in the way you want to — in the way that feels good?
Our Primary Focus
The primary focus of our work together is Business Leadership — more specifically, me supporting you in leading your business (making decisions and taking action) from Self to serve the clients you want to serve in the ways you want to serve them, while making the money you want to make.
We’ll do this by learning what it feels like to be in Self energy (practicing being in and returning to Self) as it relates to your work and business and tending to what arises as you step toward more clients, revenue, and impact.
This is sustainable and authentic expansion.
During our first few sessions, we’ll clarify your vision, priorities, and action steps. We’ll consider which actions are effective, where you’re getting stuck when taking action, and what feels good (and not!) about what you’re doing and where you’re headed.
As our work continues, certain themes and patterns will emerge, and I’ll gently invite you to turn your attention toward them. You’ll hear me ask countless times, “What’s alive in you today?” “Is there something specific you’re holding today?” and “How is xyz project going this week?”
Much of our work centers around being bigger in the world and taking action (for Projectors sometimes doing less!) toward the business or work you desire.
Below are a few themes, adjacent to expansion, that have come up with my clients over the last few years. These will likely arise in our sessions too.
Finding choice in every moment, every situation, every relationship
Radical self-belief
Being big in the world
Cultivating personal power
Cultivating resilience and/or momentum (attunement to self, discernment, getting needs met, the pace of your choices and actions)
Attuning to your unique needs through the lens of Human Design
Moving at the pace of the slowest part (consent with yourself as you expand)
Defining success on your terms
Building capacity to be misunderstood
Radical ownership of your choices
Ethical Business Leadership — what are your personal ethics that drive your decisions and actions?
Tolerating, allowing for, and even celebrating differences between you and your colleagues, your clients, and your business mentors
Continuing to divest from a moral binary lens and moving toward a lens of action/impact/accountability
The Investment & Logistics
My hourly rate is $500 USD. I encourage you to create a package that works for you. I do not work in monthly contracts.
I’ve intentionally structured this Self work to be led by you, not me. How often would you like to meet? Would you like to book sessions for the rest of the year so you have the time reserved on my calendar? Or would you like to book one session at a time? Do you need a break from our work?
Considerations
I have limited availability for this type of work, as most of my energy is invested in teaching Human Design. I typically book one month in advance, though at times the wait is longer.
Sessions will likely take place on Mondays or Tuesdays, and I have some availability for 30-minute follow-up sessions on Thursdays and Fridays.
I do not currently offer financial need-based scholarships for Business Mentoring Sessions.
Session Requirements
If you are booking a single session, payment is due at booking. If you’re booking multiple sessions, you may pay weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Sessions must be paid in full ten days in advance of the scheduled session.
Sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once you’ve booked the time on my calendar, it’s yours and cannot be transferred to someone else.
You may reschedule one week or more in advance.
You may choose your session length and calculate the rate based on my hourly fee listed above. Session lengths can be 60, 75, or 90 minutes.
If you’re booking 60 minutes or more per week, you may choose 30 or 45-minute sessions in addition to the options listed above. If you desire support for staying in right-for-you action throughout the week, you might thrive with two 30-minute sessions per week instead of one 60-minute session.
Sample Packages
Option One
Twice weekly sessions: 45 minutes on Monday morning to set the tone and priorities for the week and a 30-minute follow-up session on Thursday morning to finish the week strong.
$2500 every four weeks
Option Two
A monthly 60-minute session to check in about your big-picture vision, your current priorities, and where you’re getting stuck or overwhelmed as you move toward action.
$500 every month
A note about the scope of our work
It is inherently traumatic to live in our dominant culture. However, you might also have a personal trauma history that requires more care than what I’m capable of offering you. Inner material seemingly unrelated to your business may arise, and you may require the support of a therapist or other mental health professional. You are welcome to pause our work at any time for this reason.
Next Steps
If you’re interested in exploring this type of work together, please reach out via Voxer if we’re already connected there, send me a DM on Instagram, or email me at hello@jesfields.com. I’d love to know what’s drawing you to this type of support.
It’s an option to book just one session to feel into our mutual fit, and we can schedule more sessions from there.
