Work, Self, Human Design is a mastermind-style peer support space where we explore our relationship to work and Self through the lens of Human Design.

We gather regularly for conversations guided by thoughtful prompts, touching on themes like purpose, rest, seasonal energy, patterns in our work, and the deeper needs that shape how we show up. Our focus is on connection and personal insight.

You’ll be invited to share from your own experience, to notice your patterns and needs, and to find language for the shifts you’re moving through.

As the facilitator, I hold the space, offer structure, and guide us through the themes, but the group is co-created. We’re here to witness each other, learn from one another, and remember we’re not doing it alone. I am participating in the conversations alongside everyone else.

Most weeks we laugh and cry all in the same hour session. We celebrate each other’s successes in real-time and offer empathy and connection on difficult days.

Bring your stories, life lessons learned, and questions. Be witnessed in your experience being you, and experience many moments of similarity (and difference!) with your peers.

The vibe is “come as you are” — the pressure is low, the connection is rich, and the only goal is to let ourselves be supported in community around this life-long inquiry of what it means to do our work in the world.

*Your work in the world is yours to define. From writing your first novel to taking your thriving business to its next level, or something else far more mundane, you get to choose what “your work in the world” means to you, and the question itself is a perfect example of what we’ll connect about in this group.

What You’ll Explore Inside of WSHD

These are just a few of the topics we’ll be exploring with each other in the coming year:

Rooting into your purpose: why your work matters to you and how that “why” evolves with time

Defining your version of work, especially when it looks different from familial or cultural expectations

Naming your desires and/or your relationship to naming them at all

Celebrating rest and recovery because recovery is often just as much a part of “the work” as working

Following life-force energy toward your goals and desires, rather than acting from pressure or urgency

Holding the complexity of it all: there’s space for your ambition and your exhaustion, your big dreams and goals and your limitations and challenges too.

Group Agreements

Please carefully read through the details and Group Agreements below to assess whether this offering is a fit for you.

Reach out with your needs and questions about these agreements to hello@jesfields.com or send me a note on Instagram or Voxer.

  • As much as possible, we attempt to use "I" statements when sharing.

For example, I might share, "As a 3/5 Projector, it can be challenging for me to decipher between 5th line projections and true recognition." instead of, "As Projectors we struggle with... "

I intentionally chose this format for our group because it creates space for the speaker and the listeners to have different experiences while fostering a sense of intimacy and connection between group members.

For many people, this way of personal sharing is more vulnerable, so remember that you can choose (and change your mind in the moment) what you share based on your comfort level.

  • You are welcome to offer resources to each other or ask for advice from peers in Voxer between sessions.

During our live Zoom sessions, our focus is on active listening and connection, rather than offering advice.

  • WSHD sessions are not recorded.

Please plan to join most sessions.

(And of course, life happens! Skip if needed.)

  • Our meeting is not a gendered space. For example, we are not a group of women exploring Human Design. Here's what that looks like in practice:

    • Please refrain from addressing the group in a gendered way. i.e. "It was so good to connect with you ladies/guys!"

    • If I accidentally misgender someone during the session, please correct me in the chat. I'll say, "thank you" to keep it brief and not center myself. If you misgender someone during the session, I'll do the same for you, and I ask that you also offer a quick, "thank you" and move on.

    • If I misgender someone in Voxer, I’ll delete the message and record it again, and I ask that you do the same.

If you have any needs or preferences around how we handle pronoun corrections (or any other aspect of creating a non-gendered space), please reach out.

If you currently hold a biological view of gender (sex = gender) or a binary view of gender (there are two genders: man and woman) and you do not accept, honor, and celebrate that other people have a different experience of gender, then this group will not be a good fit for you.

Meeting Schedule

We gather 3-4 times per month on Tuesdays from noon-1pm EST and Voxer to connect between sessions.

We have a beloved Friday Voxer ritual of sharing our “rose, bud, and thorn” of the week, which has become a way to get to know and encourage each other.

To Apply

If you’re interested in joining Work, Self, Human Design, please send an inquiry email to hello@jesfields.com so we can set up a time to meet on Zoom or connect on Voxer.

It is my highest priority to gather a group of people who will be a mutually supportive fit with each other.

I’m sure we will share many values and our love for Human Design, however, our daily lives and identities will (hopefully!) be wildly different. You might be the only brick-and-mortar shop owner or the only stay-at-home parent or the only online business owner who is on their third business venture.

I believe our differences in identity and circumstances only benefit our connection and support of each other. If you are looking for a group of online entrepreneurs who are the same as you, this group isn’t a fit for you. :)

Most participants are years-deep into Human Design, a decade into their personal healing and growth, and are supported outside of our container by other coaches, therapists, or mentors.

If this sounds like you — reach out right away.
